Joining the CEEC
The
CEEC is a church planting church so whether you are an
ordained minister already, a lay person wishing to be
part of a caring community, or a student with a call to
plant churches and you have a desire to serve him in
both the renewal of worship and service in the
convergence of the Sacramental, Charismatic and
Evangelical then perhaps this is the place for you.
God
places a call on his people to join him in the renewal
and recreation of his Church in all its multi-hued
dimensions. This challenge is incredibly exciting.
Just imagine the possibilities of being able to tap into the
creativity of God to create something new, where the
only tradition we really must be bound to is that of
God’s eternal covenant – to bring people into the
fullness of the humanity that he intended and therefore
into relationship with him; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Through the vision of the CEEC, God has given us the
freedom to be his agents of change. The CEEC was
founded on a vision of the convergence of the different
streams of spirituality in the life and worship of the
Church which have existed under the guidance of the
Spirit of God for two thousand years.
Membership in the CEEC simply means you have chosen to
worship in this part of the body of Christ, that you
agree with the Doctrinal Essentials and have a vision to
see others come to know and love God. Members who wish
to vote at church meetings will need to make a written
affirmation of the Doctrinal Essentials. If you wish to
take up an Ordained or Lay ministry position in the
CEEC you will need to complete the five Ministry
Application forms.
“Plant the Church and hand it on”, this was God’s
commission when the church was planted in Australia. The
future of the church is in an empowered people, released
to serve God. We are, all of us, God’s royal
priesthood created in diverse ways, each with individual
gifts. As flesh and blood mortal beings we do not have
much to offer God except ourselves …… but then we have
the power of God himself.
As I
pray and think about our future I am convinced that God
wants to use the creativity he has given each of us.
We live in a radical age of change, not that change is
necessarily bad or good either, but God’s solutions may
be more radical and they will be good.
Please pray about your future in the Church and if we
may be of service please contact us at
